I really don’t understand the proliferation of posts/statuses/tweets that use fragments instead of incomplete sentences.

  • they don’t communicate a complete idea.
  • what exactly are you saying about that “awkward moment…” or “that person who…?”
  • fragments do not make you cooler.
  • we arranged the basic tenets of a complete sentence for a reason.
  • How do you have the right to criticize someone for your/you’re or they’re/their/their if you make mistakes that are just as petty?
